What kind of website is SoundChurch.org?
SoundChurch.org is a ministry of Denver Sound Church to present the sound teaching of Scripture and also provide commentary on modern trends within Christian theology. It is our goal to use social media to enlarge the borders of the kingdom of God (John 4:35) and to “present every man complete in Christ”. (Colossians 1:28)
What kind of church is Denver Sound Church?
Our goal as a church is to follow the pattern set forth in Apostolic Christianity. We value church history more highly than popular evangelical trends. Our distinctives include:
- Christ is our Authority: If He is to be our Savior, then we must first submit to Him as Lord. He is the only Source of Life and it is His law that we follow.
- Church is our Priority: The local church is the focus of our life and the church is our family. No other allegiance is greater than our allegiance to the Body of Christ.
- All of the Bible is Essential: All that God has given in His Word is necessary for the believer to follow.

Who generates content at SoundChurch.org?
Pastor Scott Jarrett is the senior teaching elder and a founding member of Denver Sound Church (2001). From 1995 to 1999, Pastor Jarrett received extensive biblical and theological training. During his Masters of Divinity studies, Pastor Scott attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL, Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI, and Masters School of Biblical Studies in Denver, CO. Pastor Jarrett has also been ordained by way of an official ordination council examining his understanding of theology, his knowledge of the Scriptures, and his character in everyday life. Pastor Jarrett and his wife Kris reside in Denver, CO and have been married since 1994.
After spending time as a lay worker in several churches, Joshua Caucutt made the move to full-time ministry as a part of the DSC staff in 2011. His duties primarily include administration and editing. Josh earned his undergrad and graduate degrees at Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, WI and then spent 15 years as a college soccer coach.
